The 33-year-old Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight will host 70 people for a three hour training session at Redstar Muay Thai Kickboxing/ Bodydesign 24seven Gym.

Redstar owner Simon Pitsch said he couldn’t believe just how many people jumped at the chance to train with Overeem.

“They (tickets) sold out within a week,” Pitsch said. “This is the biggest sportsman Port Adelaide has ever had and am proud that Redstar managed to get him here.”

Overeem is the only fighter to hold world titles in both MMA and K-1 kickboxing at the same time.
